These create high fidelity sound for your pc or mp3 player. Good through bass, mid and high range frequencies. They have a traditional bookshelf speaker look to them. A real wood veneer finish would have been nice but what is provided is attractive. They are big though, don't think about having them on the desk with your computer unless your desk is huge. It is nice to find a tasteful high fidelity pair of computer speakers for adults.
